Glass Preparation and Cleaning
Having clean, contaminant free glass is essential to long lasting, quality installations. We will review various glass cleaning methods and the proper mixing of tint solutions.

Pattern Cutting
Techniques on cutting out door glasses and the proper use of the olfa knife will be covered. Time will be given to cutting out around window hardware.

Film Lay-up
We will cover the application of window film while paying special attention to reducing contamination. For door installations, various methods of tucking the tint behind the door moldings will be reviewed.

Heat Forming
Much time will be spent on heat forming window film onto door glasses, quarter glasses, and back glasses. There will be extensive hands on training for one piece and two piece back glass installations.
Finalizing Film Installation
After the film has been applied, we will go over squeegee-ing and solution removal, finishing off the edges, and heating out of any residual fingers
When you finish your training
You will have acquired the knowledge and techniques needed to become a professional installer. The rest is practice and determination.
